Breezhaler with Glycopyrronium Bromide

Inhalation with the Breezhaler with Glycopyrronium Bromide

Please remove the protective cap. Open the inhaler by holding the base thereof and tilting the mouthpiece. Disconnect a blister cell along the perforation of the blister pack to prepare the capsule. Pull off the protective film from the bottom of the blister cell to expose the capsule. Do not press the capsule through the foil. The capsules must always be stored in the blister pack and may only be removed directly before use.

Take the capsule out of the blister pack with dry hands. Put the capsule into the capsule chamber. Hold the Breezhaler upright with the mouthpiece pointing upwards. Pierce the capsule by firmly pressing both side buttons together at the same time. Only press the buttons once. You should hear a click when the capsule is pierced. Release the side buttons fully. Hold the Breezhaler so that the side buttons are facing to the left and right. Do not press the side buttons.

Please sit upright. Breathe out slowly and deeply, but not into the inhaler. Then put the mouthpiece into your mouth and enclose your lips tightly around it.

Now inhale as rapidly, strongly and deeply as possible through your mouth, whereby a buzzing sound will indicate the correct inhalation.

After inhaling, please hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds. Thereafter you can breathe out slowly, but not into the inhaler.

Then remove the empty capsule from the inhaler, which also verifies the successful inhalation. Thereafter please close the inhaler again and replace the cap. Do not store the capsules in the Breezhaler inhaler.

Please read the package information leaflet carefully before use.
If you are not certain whether you are using your inhaler correctly, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
